Norman joined Koda in December 2023 as Koda's Chief Investment Officer

Norman Zhang is an experienced Chief Investment Officer and has managed a combined $12+ billion across two Australian superannuation funds over the past 6-7 years.

Previously Norman served as the Chief Investment Officer at Legal Super and led a dedicated investment team, overseeing assets worth $5.5+ billion.
His expertise includes developing investment strategies, building high quality investment programs & teams, asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager research & selection.

Prior to working at Legal Super, Norman held the position of the Chief Investment Officer at Media Super (industry superannuation fund), an Asset Consultant at Frontier Advisors, and worked in the corporate finance and management consulting teams at Ernst & Young Australia.

Norman is a CFA Charterholder, and also holds the following qualifications/achievements:

–          Executive Program (Negotiations), Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK
–          Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
–          Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Accounting), The University of Melbourne, Australia.
–          Recipient of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees Rising Star Award (2018).

Norman also sits on several investor advisory committees of investment vehicles, including those managed by IFM Investors, Siguler Guff & Co., and Lighthouse Infrastructure.
