David is responsible for Koda’s non-profit and philanthropic client business and for the firm’s impact investing service.
David chairs Koda’s Partnership Committee and he is a member of the Koda Leadership Team. He is responsible for Koda’s non-profit and philanthropic client business, which he co-founded in 2015.
David has worked in the industry since the late 1980s, including 10 years overseas with Coutts & Co. and Merrill Lynch. He led the philanthropic & non-profit advice businesses at Perpetual and JBWere, where, as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he was a Managing Director and head of product and marketing.
David has accumulated considerable experience in non-profit chair and director roles, and he has significant experience chairing and serving on endowment and investment committees, overseeing charitable and philanthropic funds in a fiduciary capacity. He is Chairman of The Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife, also chairing its Fundraising & Marketing Committee and serving on its Finance & Risk Committee.
David has studied Non-Profit governance at the AICD and the Harvard Business School. He is a professionally qualified trustee with significant experience of establishing, managing, investing and distributing trusts and foundations.
