Joel joined Koda Capital in January 2023 as a Compliance Associate and is based in Sydney.
Joel brings a decade of financial services experience to Koda, having worked at 3 of the big 4 retail banks and previously as a financial adviser in Shanghai, China. Prior to returning to Australia in 2017, Joel resided in Beijing and Shanghai over a period of 6 years where he studied Mandarin Chinese at Tsinghua University and worked with high-net-worth expatriates in Shanghai.
Joel earned a Master of Financial Planning from the University of New South Wales and has successfully passed the Level I CFA Exam.
